“Girl with peaches” By Valentin Serov.

This is a picture by V.Serov. He is a famous Russian painter. The picture portrays a young girl at the table. There are some fresh peaches on the table, in front of her. The action takes place in a rich country house not far from Moscow, in Abramtsevo. As you know this house is a museum now. The painter uses a big window as the background. It is daytime. There is much sun-light and air in the room. The girl`s eyes express young hope. Her attractive fresh face reflects her simple and active character. We even feel that the girl looks like a charming peach. This portrait is one of the famous pictures by Serov. It impresses all the people, who see it at the Tretyakov Gallery. People always look at it with pleasure.

I`m fond of music. I like classic music. Piano is my favorite instrument. I have been studying music for 10 years. It was a very hard work. I spend a lot of time at the piano. I took part in different musical competitions. I visited Poltava, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Moskva, Lvyiv and others cities where the competition were held. I won different prizes at the competitions. My teacher, my parents and I  really felt proud of my achievements.  

        I thank them for their support, help and love to me!

I`d like to tell you about my  friend. She looks as if she is in her early teens. She looks very slim and she is not very tall. She has got wavy, long hair. Her easy are grey with dark, long  eyelashes. She has got straight little nose.   Her lips are thin and rouse. She has got a pale skin with nice fleckless.

         She usually wears trendy casual clothes – a T-short or a blouse and jeans – she looks very smart.

         I think she looks neat and well – dressed.

     

A lot of people have pets. Some people have cats, dogs, parrots, hamsters, fish as their pets. Other keep unusual pets like: crocodiles, spiders, and even snakes. They love them and take care of them.

         As for me I have 2 pets. They are a big cat and her little kitten. It appeared in our  family unexpectedly. Our cat was pregnant and we were waiting for kittens. But she came home without kitten=(((  In some days we noticed that she disappeared regularly. We began to follow her. We were greatly surprised when we saw a white little kitten=) It was so nice! Now it is a big cat with white long fur and green eyes. It is very lazy but some times she likes to play with her tail.  She likes to eat milk and meat. She is very independent and I think she feels like a hostess of the house.

         I love her very much!

Where have you been recently? Have you been somewhere

 in space, or on a desert island?  Or have you been caught

by Indians and they took your notebook and you haven`t had

 enough time to read and answer my emails?

I`m pretty tired now because I have been  busy. I`ve been working really hard. I took part in the Ukrainian   Olympiad. It took much time and strength.

I`m   looking    forward for   the weekend.  We are going to have a school party on Friday evening. We are going to celebrate Helloween. Oh, before I  forget bring a pumpkin and some candles.

I`m sure we`ll have an enjoyable time. Oh, by the way, what are you going to wear? We should  look like ghosts.

My name is Tanya. I am from Myrhorod. I’m 16 year old and I go to specialized school №5. I’m in year 11. I live with my parents and my younger brother Sasha. Myrhorod is my birthplace. I spent my childhood in it. Myrhorod is small but vary beautiful town. Our town is famous for its health-resort. It is know for its curative mineral water, which is called Myrhorodska.   Myrhorod is situated in the central part of Ukraine. Many famous people lived or visited Myrhorod.         I have lots of hobbies and interests. I like listening to music. I prefer Rap and R’N’B. I like playing computer games with my friends. I really like chatting online. Sport is not very impotent for me .Sometimes I play basketball and volleyball at school. I like watching figure-skating on TV. It is a romantic and very beautiful kind of sport. I particularly enjoy dancing.  I’m not very keen on sport, but dancing gives me lots of movement.         I’m not at all a shy person. I’m friendly, kind and optimistic.         I think I’m loyal to my friends. My credo is to move only ahead.
